Purpose of our organization: Cub Scouting means "doing." Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys doing things. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting - citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness.

In Cub Scouting you'll have lots of fun, adventure, and activities with your den and pack. But there's more to it than that. Being a Cub Scout means you are a members of a worldwide youth movement that stands for certain values and beliefs. The Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a boy's sense of belonging. Cub Scouting is more than something to do. It's all about the boy you are and the person you will become.

Cub Scouts is for boys 1st grade through 5th grade. After 5th Grade, the boys crossover to Boy Scouts. Each Den consists of boys from the same grade in school. Pack meetings or activities are held for all the boys from grades 1-5. Each grade has their own achievements they work on during the year. As a Pack we participate in local parades, have award ceremonies three times during the year, race in the Pinewood Derby and do a "Scouting for Food" drive for the local food pantry among many other things. Come and join the fun!
