Purpose of the Organization:

The Richland County Solid Waste and Recycling Committee is the responsible unit for managing recycling funds for Richland County.  As a responsible unit it makes grant application to the State of Wisconsin of Recycling funds and allocates this money to most of the towns, villages and City of Richland Center to support their recycling efforts.  They also provide recycling education and special collects of hard to recycle items for Richland County residents.

Services we provide:

  1. Apply and manage recycling grants to local units of government.
  2. Organize and host Clean Sweeps and Special Collects.
  3. Provide recycling information and education for the Richland County area.

Volunteer Opportunities through our organization:

  1. Town and village Collections.
  2. County wide special collections.
  3. Educational booths promoting recycling.
  4. Roadside Clean ups or community clean ups organized by the community or town.
